Dear shipowners!!!
Marine Vessel Management — Reliability Proven by Time!
Now our company provides a range of services in vessel management. End-to-end services for your fleet: from technical maintenance to legal support.
Ship owners can be banks, industrial and trading companies, traders, as well as investors with available capital. When using a ship manager, the ship owner is left with the responsibility of solving issues related to investments, raising capital, and developing the business, while the ship manager performs the daily routine work of operating the vessels.
Ship management is an important aspect of the shipping industry. And it does not matter whether we are talking about managing a fleet or a single vessel. A ship management company manages them on behalf of the ship owner and at his expense, in most cases, based on a standard SHIPMAN contract and a Trust Management Agreement for a sea vessel.
The technology of interaction is simple. Having signed the contract, the ship owner hands over the vessel to the technical management of the company for a certain period. The ship owner can continue cooperation with the same company or contact another one if he is not satisfied with the work of this company.
Of course, it should be understood that the technical management of ships is not an easy task, which includes a number of functions and conditions:
1. Supervision of the technical maintenance of the vessel. The process should include repair work, including periodic dry-docking, as well as supply and ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
2. Ensuring that the vessel meets the flag state's requirements and the classification society's recommendations.
3. Ensuring that the vessel complies with the ISM Code, ISPS, and the Maritime Labour Convention.
4. Manning the vessel, including crew training, as well as everything related to wages and insurance.
5. Consideration of various claims related to insurance, salvage, etc.
How it works:
• The shipowner agrees with the ship manager.
• The manager prepares the ship's operating budget, including insurance, crew costs, supplies, maintenance, etc. for a certain period, and sends it to the shipowner for approval.
• Once the budget has been agreed upon, the ship manager begins working within its framework, providing monthly reports on the vessel's performance and budget compliance.
It remains that hiring a ship management company can be beneficial for shipowners without prior experience in shipping or for those who may not have the time and opportunity to perform this task. This saves the shipowner time and resources and also brings him significant profits.
